We received a compatibility report from our customer about our acoustic panel “SHIZUKA Stillness Panel (SSP)” and musical instruments.

Since the generated frequencies differ depending on the instrument, originally the sound absorbing panel must also be selected by the sound absorbing effect. However, SSP with a wide range of sound absorbing effects can respond flexibly for this problem.

● In the case of an acoustic guitar, directivity is given to the person listening by arranging it around the performer, so a three-dimensional feeling of sound comes out.

●· In the case of a drum, the sound pressure is strong, so it is not effective even if it is placed around the instrument. By arranging it on the wall, you can adjust the sound echoing in the room.

Depending on the nature of the instruments, acoustic guitar has high directionality, and drums seem to have a sound-like character in all directions. Therefore, the response of the player / listener changes depending on the distance and installation method. By removing the stand for independence and putting it on the wall, effective measures can be taken for omnidirectional type like a drum.
