Compared to urethane sponge, you may think that the cost of SHIZUKA Stillness Panel is a little high. However, there are merits for the purchaser in the following points.

① The sound absorbing effect is higher than sponge of the same thickness
SSP is 36 mm thick, and the sponge of the same thickness has sound absorption effect in 2000 ~ 4000 Hz area. Although it is an effective frequency if it is a violin, it is an unsatisfactory effect for human voice or piano. Since the sound absorbing area of SSP is 500 Hz ~, it is possible to absorb not only human voice but also sound of piano. This high sound absorbing effect is due to the synergistic effect of the use of sound absorbing material by the double structure.

② Simplicity of installation
Since the SSP has a type with a leg and no type, it can be installed according to the environment. If you use the legs during installation you do not need to attach it to the wall like a sponge. You can use it as a booth combining multiple panels.

③ High durability
SSP is composed of materials resistant to ultraviolet rays and temperature change. In the case of melamine type sponge, it becomes ragged, but in case of SSP it is hard to cause aged deterioration because aluminum fiber with high surface purity is used.
